About Art
Arthur A. Leidecker is a Board Certified Hypnotherapist and an Advanced Instructor with the
National Guild of Hypnotists. He has received the Instructor of the Year award from the Guild,
Hypnotist of the Year Award from the Mid-America Hypnosis Conference and is the author of
From Scratch and on a Shoestring–-How absolutely anyone can build a successful practice. He is
the founder of the Leidecker Institute, a state of Illinois and Indiana approved vocational
school. The newly opened offices and classrooms are located on Chicago St. in Elgin, Ill. He
teaches and trains psychiatrists, medical doctors, psychologists, counselors and laypeople to
become hypnotherapists, and sees clients privately.

He is the president of the International Association of Medical and Therapeutic Specialists, a
professional not-for-profit organization uniting healing professionals with the medical
community. He also serves on the Illinois Legislative Action Committee for Hypnotherapists.

Always interested in body language, Art has studied and researched Neuro-subliminal
Communication throughout the world in preparation for his soon to be published book.

He has appeared on TV and radio, and has been recognized for his work with teen gangs in Time
magazine.
